Policy Debate – Who Should Build Public EV Charging Infrastructure ?
Webinar Recording
Webinar Slides
This webinar will provide insight on the ongoing policy debate about who should build public EV charging infrastructure. Should utilities be allowed, or even encouraged, to build public EV charging infrastructure? Should auto manufactures or third parties provide the public EV charging infrastructure? Is there a need for both? Also, if we rely on third parties to build, what is the regulatory role when dealing with requests for utilities to provide some amount of interconnection infrastructure and wholesale energy supply. This webinar will explore the policy questions that regulators and advocates should explore when answering these questions.
